End-to-end encryption is central to WhatsApp's brand, and this campaign aimed to make that invisible promise something people could see and hear. From WhatsApp's perspective, we looked for ways to show E2EE through sound and visuals.

The main idea turns privacy into audio: for anyone outside the conversation, encrypted content sounds like meaningless noise, but the intended recipient hears it clearly. By setting distorted, scrambled sounds against clear, decoded speech — using filters that remove any recognizable words or voices — the campaign drives home its core message: no one, not even WhatsApp, can see or hear what is shared.

The idea carries into static and motion creative built for WhatsApp's surfaces — stills, animations, and social cut-downs that hold the same promise wherever the campaign runs.
